Who am I?

“You can always recognize truth by its beauty and simplicity.”

Richard Feynman

Nadezhda (Nada) Petkova

My name is Nadezhda (Nada) Petkova and I am a Feldenkrais practitioner (teacher). I am a graduate of the four-year-long training program of the Feldenkrais Institute in Vienna (Feldenkrais Institut Wien), a member of the Austrian Feldenkrais Guild (Feldenkrais Verband Oesterreich), and also a Child Space practitioner – a method focused on early child development that is related to the Feldenkrais Method.

Before I started studying the Feldenkrais Method, I used to study and teach Restorative Movement and Restorative Breathing. My interest in movement, human development, and learning has always been my companion, albeit not professionally, in the early years of my career. I am a graduate of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” with a MA in Bulgarian Language and Literature. And I have a second MA in Medieval Studies from the Central European University in Budapest.
